Inspired by the success of Rustbucket Rye IPA, Black Bucket takes the style further with darker malts, richer flavours and greater intensity.
Pouring deep dark brown to black with ruby highlights and a creamy tan head, it immediately stands out in the glass.
The aroma opens with layers of roasted malt, light coffee and cocoa, complemented by fresh citrus and pine notes from American hops.
On the palate, roasted malt bitterness and bright hop character work in harmony. Notes of coffee, dark chocolate and toasted rye are balanced by citrus zest and resinous hop flavours, leading to a clean, dry and satisfying finish.
